Μία ακόμη βραδιά γεμάτη λάμψη. Μία ακόμη βραδιά, στην οποία μονοπώλησαν το ενδιαφέρον οι Α-listers που έδωσαν το «παρών» και συγκέντρωσαν όλα τα βλέμματα επάνω τους. Η φετινή απονομή των 77ων BAFTA film awards αποτελεί κεντρικό θέμα συζήτησης τις τελευταίες ώρες, με την ετήσια τελετή απονομής των κινηματογραφικών βραβείων να είναι μια από τις πιο διάσημες πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, όντας ο... προάγγελος των Oscars.

Ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος είδε και πάλι τους film-lovers να υποκλίνονται και το «Poor Things» γνώρισε την αποθέωση, ενώ στο επίκεντρο βρέθηκε και το «Oppenheimer». Τι ακριβώς συνέβη στην εν λόγω βραδιά;

The Ceremony

Τα Bafta Film Awards 2024 πραγματοποιήθηκαν στο Royal Festival Hall του Southbank Centre στο Λονδίνο, με τους πασίγνωστους celebrities που πρωταγωνίστησαν σε μία ακόμη super λαμπερή βραδιά, να καταφθάνουν από νωρίς στο κόκκινο χαλί. Ο Σκωτσέζος, David Tennant ήταν αυτός που ανέλαβε φέτος την παρουσίαση της τελετής, με τον γνωστό ηθοποιό που έχει συνδέσει το όνομά του με μία σειρά από σπουδαίες επιτυχίες να σχολιάζει πριν από τα βραβεία, πως: «Θέλουμε να έχουμε μια βραδιά που θα είναι μια γιορτή και που δε θα κάνει τους ανθρώπους να αισθάνονται άβολα και δε θα έχουν ανθρώπους να ψήνονται με οποιονδήποτε τρόπο, οπότε ελπίζουμε ότι θα είναι μια βραδιά γενναιοδωρίας και χαράς». Η αλήθεια είναι πως ο μεγάλος στόχος των διοργανωτών επετεύχθη, με τα βλέμματα όλων να στρέφονται στο Λονδίνο και τη βρετανική πρωτεύουσα να αποκτά μία πολύ ιδιαίτερη αύρα.

Τα βρετανικά βραβεία κινηματογράφου, δεν αφορούν -παραδοσιακά- μόνο τους λάτρεις του κινηματογράφου, αλλά και εκείνους της μόδας και για ακόμα μία φορά, οι υπέρλαμπροι stars του cinema περπάτησαν στο red carpet και μας προσέφεραν άκρως εντυπωσιακά outfits, που αποτελούν -ξανά- πηγή έμπνευσης. Όσο για τους μεγάλους νικητές της βραδιάς; Το «Oppenheimer» απέσπασε το βραβείο για την καλύτερη ταινία και συνολικά, έφυγε από την τελετή με 7 βραβεία, ενώ το «Poor Things» κέρδισε συνολικά 5 από τα 11 βραβεία για τα οποία ήταν υποψήφιο. 

Ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος είδε πολλά βλέμματα να στρέφονται επάνω του, την ώρα που η λάμψη των stars κατέκλυσε ολόκληρο το Λονδίνο, ενώ το «παρών» έδωσε στην iconic βραδιά και ο πρίγκιπας William, που έχει αναλάβει πολύ σημαντικά καθήκοντα το τελευταίο διάστημα μετά από τη διάγνωση του πατέρα του με καρκίνο. Ο William, έδειχνε πιο εντυπωσιακός από ποτέ, φορώντας ένα navy βελούδινο blazer, ενώ δε θα μπορούσε να μην αναφερθεί στην απουσία της Kate Middleton, που δεν μπόρεσε να παρακολουθήσει από κοντά την τελετή, όπως συνέβη τις περασμένες χρονιές, καθώς βρίσκεται στο στάδιο της ανάρρωσης.
